The Draeger Polytron Pulsar is the flameproof solution when hydrocarbons have to be detected across an imaginary line up to 654 ft. between a transmitter and a receiver unit. The pulsing signal of four high power Xenon lamps make Pulsar immune to interference from sunlight, stack flares, arc-welding and other high energy IR sources.

Polytron GD 30RThe Draeger Polytron GD 30R (GDXL) is an intrinsically safe open path gas detector used for continuous monitoring of hydrocarbon gases in ambient air up to a distance of 98 ft. The system, suitable for indoor applications, uses microcontroller technology to convert an infrared signal to a 4 to 20mA analog output from the Receiver unit.
